Before you start
- Create an account and confirm your email address.
- Have your photographs ready — JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10MB each, up to 30 per listing.
- Have the postcode, price or rent, bedroom count and property type to hand.
- For a sale: tenure, council tax band and energy rating. For a let: deposit, availability date, applicable tenancy terms and furnishing.
Building the listing
- Choose whether you are advertising a sale or a let, and what kind of advertiser you are.
- Add the property facts. Anything you leave blank simply is not shown.
- Write the description. At least 120 characters is required, and 250 useful words works best.
- Upload photographs, then a floorplan and EPC if you have them.
- Set your contact preferences: choose which of email, phone and WhatsApp are published.
- Decide whether to publish the exact address or an approximate location only.
- Preview, then submit for review.
What happens after you submit
Your listing goes to our moderation queue. We check that it is a real property, that the description and photographs are consistent, that the location and price are plausible, and that it meets our advertising standards. Approval and payment are separate steps — a listing goes live only when it is both approved and covered by paid advertising time.
Card payments are not yet switched on. Until they are, listings can be created, submitted and reviewed, but cannot be published by paying online.
